Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2025
1. Introduction
ProofSight is committed to protecting user privacy through cryptographic means. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in relation to the Protocol and its associated services.
2. Information We Collect
Due to the zero-knowledge nature of ProofSight, we deliberately minimize data collection:
- On-chain transaction data (publicly visible on Solana blockchain)
- Cryptographic commitments and proofs (no identity information)
- Website analytics (anonymized, no personally identifiable information)
- Technical logs for debugging (automatically purged after 7 days)
3. What We Don't Collect
ProofSight's architecture ensures we cannot access:
- Links between wallet addresses and positions
- Position sizes or values
- Trading strategies or patterns
- Personal identity information
- Settlement amounts or recipients
4. Zero-Knowledge Privacy
ProofSight uses zero-knowledge proofs to ensure that even the protocol operators cannot determine the relationship between users and their positions. All position and settlement data is cryptographically private by design.
5. On-Chain Data
Certain information is necessarily public on the Solana blockchain, including:
- Market-level statistics (total volume, odds, outcomes)
- Transaction hashes and timing
- Smart contract interactions
- Zero-knowledge proofs (which reveal no private information)
This data is publicly available to anyone and is not controlled by ProofSight.
6. Website Analytics
Our website uses privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand usage patterns. We do not use tracking cookies or collect personally identifiable information through our website.
7. Third-Party Services
ProofSight integrates with third-party services including:
- Solana RPC providers (for blockchain access)
- IPFS nodes (for decentralized storage)
- GitHub (for open-source code hosting)
Each service has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing their policies before use.
8. Data Retention
Technical logs are automatically deleted after 7 days. On-chain data persists permanently as part of the Solana blockchain. Cryptographic commitments remain on-chain but reveal no private information.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security practices for our infrastructure. However, the strongest protection of your privacy comes from ProofSight's cryptographic design, not from access controls.
10. Your Rights
Because ProofSight collects minimal data and uses zero-knowledge cryptography, traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) are largely inapplicable. Your privacy is protected by mathematics, not policy.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be announced through our official channels.
12. Contact

ProofSight's commitment to privacy goes beyond policy—it's embedded in our cryptographic architecture.
